Kito, a small copper key, falls out of his initial spot on a market stall and accidentally journeys through several baskets of herbs, fruit, and bread. Carried by a man to a small blue house, Kito is finally recognized by a little girl named Kaelen and used to open a special wooden box.

Mwanaidi notices her grandmother Bibi struggling to see in the dim kitchen after sunset and decides to find a bright light for her.
