After trying a rose bush and a bird's nest, the shadow finds a basket of wool socks left by the door. It curls inside one of the warm socks under a moonbeam and falls asleep.

Kiko and the Chasm Leap

Kiko, a young student, struggles to leap across a wide mountain chasm under the guidance of her Sensei. Through patient practice with balance and small, steady steps, she eventually masters the physical and mental discipline required to succeed. The story concludes with Kiko successfully crossing the chasm, having learned that persistence is more powerful than raw strength.
