Kenji and the Rising Creek

When heavy autumn rains cause Marsh Creek to swell and trap farm animals on the far bank, Kenji steps in to help. Using gentle encouragement, a sturdy stick, a wooden plank, and a rope, he guides the ewe and her lambs, the flock of sheep, the geese, Mittens the cat, and Mama pig with her piglets to safety. After ensuring all the animals are secure on high ground, Kenji walks toward the warm barn.
