Samir and the Shadow-Map of the Solstice

Samir, a young mapmaker in the desert, uses an old brass lantern during the winter solstice to map hidden things. By manipulating light and shadows on the sand, he uncovers and records the layout of a buried ancient city on his papyrus scroll. He returns home with a completed map and a deeper understanding of the desert's hidden stories.
