Zuleika and the Backward Shadows

Zuleika notices that all the shadows in her neighborhood are acting strangely and pointing toward a mysterious spot in the sky. Using her wooden ruler and a notebook, she measures the shadows across the street to map out a 'new center' of the world. After sharing her discovery with her Grandpa and seeing the shadows return to normal the next day, she gains a deeper appreciation for the hidden patterns of her neighborhood.
